About the instructors
Dr Owen Woodberry is a Director and Senior Consultant at Bayesian Intelligence. He has worked in Bayesian networks since 2003, when he completed an honours project on developing a model of native fish populations in the Goulburn Broken Catchment, Victoria. He specialises in ecological models, knowledge engineering for BNs, teaching, and support tool development.
Dr Steven Mascaro is a Director and Senior Consultant at Bayesian Intelligence. He began working with Bayesian networks in 2006, contributing to the development of Monash University’s BN-based poker-playing bot. He specialises in machine learning for BNs, data mining, computer simulation, and BN automation tools.
